Petty Cash Transactions

Petty Cash Transactions

Cash pay in

If you need to put money in the till (i.e. put away your tips) you will need to put through a cash pay in transaction.

If you don't put through a petty cash transaction, and just put the money directly in the till, it will create inaccuracies in your cash register reports.

  1. Go to POS Register.

  2. Enter in the amount of cash you want to put in the till.

  3. Tap CASH PAY IN.

4. Optional: Choose a Supplier.
5. Optional: Add Comments.

6. Tap SUBMIT.

Cash pay out

You also need to put through a petty cash transaction when taking money out of the till.

  1. Go to POS Register.

  2. Enter in the amount of cash you want to take out of the till.

  3. Tap CASH PAY OUT.

4. Optional: Choose a Supplier.
5. Optional: Add Comments.

6. Tap SUBMIT.

View cash pay in/out transactions

On the backend, go to Reports > Register > Cash Pay In/Out to view your petty cash transactions.
