Price List Add On - Enable, Create & Activate

Enable Price Lists Add-on

1. From the Add-ons Page in Kounta Back Office, find the Price Lists Add-on

2. Enable this Add-on by clicking on the orange Enable Price Lists button

Create Price List

1. Under Sites from the Kounta Back Office, select Pricing
You will find that you already have an existing default price list called Company Price - this is the pricing you gave all your products when they were added.

2. Select Create Price List

3. Enter a name for your new Price List

4. Select Create

5. Once you are on the newly created price list (which will automatically open once created), use the search bar to find the products or just scroll through the list to find the products you need

6. In the Price column, enter the new sell price. The Company Price column is here for reference - this is the pricing you gave all your products when they were  added. If you leave the Price column empty, the product will retain the Company Price

***Note - Price lists will change the standard company pricing of your main products - it will not change the prices of Options within Option Sets, these need to be manually updated.

You can also apply bulk price changes by a $ or % amount by ticking the checkboxes then tapping the Bulk Options dropdown like so:

Reset pricing - removes the new price assigned to the product.
Change pricing - allows you to add or deduct a dollar amount or percentage from the default price.

Activate Price List

7. After the new prices have been entered, select Rules

Standard price list for this site, by default, would be the Company Price. This is the price that the products will have unless another price list is activated.

8. Select Add New Rule and you will see this dialogue box

For time-based price changes (e.g. Happy hour, weekend pricing) - assign what price list activates on what day and time (such as the example below)

Note - For time-based price lists, if you need to select specific days of the week (e.g. just Thursdays and Fridays), you will need to create one rule for each

9. Select Save & Apply and you’re done. It’s that easy.

Note - When a price list rule is triggered, the POS will display a green bar along the top of the POS screen letting your staff know that it's time to change prices - they need only to tap the green bar for the price list to activate

Support Tip - If your new price list has not automatically applied, check that you are online, and if needed perform a manual sync to ensure that the new pricing is enabled/disabled.
