How to Skip System Updates During Master Sync
By enabling this setting on the POS, you can prevent system updates from being applied during a master sync. Any changes made in the backend under POS Settings > Abacus Settings will not be reflected on your POS, even after performing a master sync.
This feature is typically used by franchise clients on EMS who prefer to manage independent POS settings, separate from their HQ configurations. This allows each store to retain its own configuration without being overridden by system updates from the head office.
However, please make sure to always confirm with your HQ before enabling this setting, as it may impact standard system updates and company-wide configurations.
