How to Bulk Import Product Images in Abacus

How to Bulk Import Product Images in Abacus

Abacus allows you to bulk import product images, so you don’t need to upload images one by one manually. This is especially useful when setting up a new menu or updating many product images at once.

Before You Start (Important Requirements)

Please make sure all product images meet the following requirements:

  • File format: .jpg or .png

  • Image size: 861 × 600 px

  • File name: Must exactly match the product code in Abacus

If the file name does not match the product code, the image will not be imported correctly

Steps to Bulk Import Product Images

1. Resize the Images
Resize all product images to 861 × 600 px. You can use any free online image resizer available on Google.

2. Rename the Image Files
Rename each image file using its product code.
Example:
a. Product code: COFFEE01
b. Image file name: COFFEE01.jpg

Make sure there are no extra spaces or characters in the file name.

3. Verify File Names
Double-check that:
a. Each image file name exactly matches its corresponding product code
b. File extensions are .jpg or .png

4. Convert Images into a ZIP File
Compress all the images into a single ZIP file. You can use any online ZIP converter.
Example tool:
