Setting Up Portions in Abacus POS
Use this feature to set up portions in Abacus POS to help manage stock levels and portion-based selling. By setting portions for products on your Master POS, you will be able to track how much of that product is left as you sell it.
When the last portion is sold, the product will be automatically marked as Sold Out on:

Abacus POS

Self-ordering kiosk
-
Abacus Online ordering
Table Ordering iPad
This helps prevent overselling and keeps availability in sync across all ordering channels.

Log in to Abacus POS and open the menu.

Long press on the product to open the options menu.

Select Portions and tap Add.

Enter the portion amount for the product.

Press Submit. The portion number will now be displayed on the product.
