In some cases, the Sync Menu button in Kiosk > Settings > Sync Menu may not update the latest changes from the Abacus Back Office. This can happen due to cached menu data stored on the kiosk device. If this occurs, you can manually refresh the menu by clearing the local menu cache using the steps below.
Steps to Manually Refresh the Kiosk Menu
Close the Abacus Kiosk app completely.
Open Windows Explorer on the kiosk device.
In the address bar, type:
%appdata%
Locate and delete the file named menu.json.
Reopen the Abacus Kiosk app and log in again.
Once logged in, the kiosk will download a fresh copy of the menu from the Abacus backend.
