Cancel an Online Order in Abacus POS
If a customer contacts you to cancel an order that was placed online, you can process the cancellation directly through the POS. This will also trigger the appropriate refund for the online payment.
Follow these steps to cancel the order:

Open Order History on the POS.

Find the order you want to cancel.

Swipe left on the order and select Refund.

Choose the items that need to be cancelled.

Tap Abacus Payment to process the refund for the customer.
Once completed, the system will automatically return the payment to the customer’s original payment method used during the online order. A new invoice for the refund will also be generated directly from the POS.
The customer will automatically receive a refund confirmation as well. Please note that this will only be sent if the Email Field ID is enabled on the online ordering settings.
If your store has a DoorDash delivery integration enabled, fully refunding the order will automatically cancel the driver request. This helps prevent a driver from being dispatched for an order that is no longer required.
