Create Pop-up Notification in Abacus Online Ordering
In Abacus Online Ordering (OUB), you can display a pop-up notification when customers open your online ordering page for the first time. This feature is useful for sharing important announcements before customers start browsing the menu. Many businesses use this pop-up to inform customers about promotions, special trading hours, important notices, or temporary updates such as unavailable items.
Follow the steps below to set up a pop-up notification for your online ordering page.
Steps
-
Log in to your Abacus Backend.
Navigate to
Online Ordering > Configuration.

3. Scroll down until you find the Pop-up Notification section.
4. Enter the message you would like your customers to see when they first open your online ordering page. You can include important information such as announcements, promotions, or store updates.
