Connecting the POS with the Customer-Facing Display
This guide explains how to connect the Customer-Facing Display with Abacus POS so both devices can communicate and display customer orders correctly. This is used to show customers their order details in real time, helping improve order accuracy, transparency, and the overall checkout experience.
Before you start, make sure:
Accessing Settings on the Customer-Facing Display

Open the Customer-Facing Display application.

Tap the cog icon in the top-left corner to open Settings.

Entering the POS Device Address

On the Customer-Facing Display, you will see a device address field in the grey box.

On the Master Abacus POS, go to Settings > Connection to find the full device address.
Example:
Master IP Address is 192.168.18.243

Complete the address on the Customer-Facing Display using the exact same IP from the Master POS device address.

Connecting the Devices

Tap Connect on the Customer-Facing Display.
The status should change from:
Authorising the Connection from POS

On the POS, go to the Client List.

The Customer-Facing Display should appear as a connected device.
