How to Manually Send a Gift Card via Abacus Backend

This guide explains how to manually send a gift card to a customer’s email address using the Abacus backend.

Use this feature when:

  • A customer requests their gift card to be resent

  • A gift card was purchased in-store and needs to be emailed

  • You need to manually send a gift card code to a customer


Steps: 

  1. Log in to the Abacus backend.

  2. Go to Loyalty Marketing.

  3. Select Voucher & Gift Card, then choose the gift card code you would like to send.

  4. Click Send to email the gift card to the customer.


Helpful Notes

  • Make sure the customer’s email address is correct before sending.

  • Once sent, the gift card will be delivered to the customer’s inbox.

  • If the customer does not receive the email, ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
