If you’re experiencing issues with the Lightspeed Restaurant app (such as syncing problems, unexpected behaviour, or app errors), you can perform an app repair and clear browser data to help resolve the issue. Please follow the steps below carefully.
1. Fully close the Lightspeed Restaurant app
Double tap the iPad Home button
Swipe up on the Restaurant app to force quit and close it completely
2. Open the iPad's Settings.
3. Scroll down to Apps in the sidebar menu.
4. Select Restaurant.
5. Toggle the switch to enable Repair on next launch.
6. Tap Apps at the top to return to the app list.
7. Select Safari.
8. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
9. Open the Point of Sale app again.
Note: You should not see an option for "Go to Point of Sale" - if you see this, double tap the home button, force quit the app, then start it again.
10. Click Login to Back Office and then click POS in the top right of the screen.
11. Select your site and register.
