Setup Abacus Printer RP1X/RP2X/LP1X
UPDATE FIRMWARE:
1. Connect the printer to Windows PC via USB
2. Download and unzip the Firmware update tool
3. Run the Printer_MiniUpdate_2.4.exe
4. Choose USB interface
5. Click on “Open firmware” button
6. Choose the firmware file for targeted printer: RP1X.fmw for RP1X, LP1X.fmw for LP1X
7. Click on “Upgrade“ button
8. Printer will restart after update successfully
9. For RP2X, please use the printer tool in the RP2X_Printer_Tool folder
a. For Black/White printing, use RP2X.fmw (Version: 7.008CR1C, Printing Speed: 300mm/s)
b. For Dual Color printing, use RP2X_Dual_Color.fmw (Version: 7.008CR1C _RED, Printing
Speed: 70mm/s)
HOW TO TURN ON CHINESE PRINTING:
1. Connect the printer to Windows PC via USB
2. Download and unzip the Printer Settings Tool
3. Run the POS Printer Test.exe
4. Choose USB interface
5. Click on the “Set P80 DIP” button
6. Turn the “Chinese mode” to YES
