How to Archive a User in Abacus POS

How to Archive a User in Abacus POS

In Abacus POS, users cannot be permanently deleted from the system. The only supported action is to archive the user from the Abacus backend.

Archiving a user will:

Disable their access to Abacus POS

        Prevent them from logging in

Keep historical data (sales, logs, reports) intact

This is the recommended and safest approach.

Steps to Archive a User:

1. Go to Abacus backend

2. Go to User > click the edit button on the right side of the user that we will archive

3. Tap on the archive button.

4. Done! Once it has been archived, you will be still able to restore the user from the same section.
