Using Predefined Notes in Abacus POS

Using Predefined Notes in Abacus POS

Predefined Notes in Abacus POS is a feature that allows you to create a list of preset notes that staff can quickly select when taking orders, instead of typing notes manually every time.

This feature is especially helpful for stores that often receive the same special requests from customers, such as:

“No ice”

“Less sugar”

“Extra spicy”

“Allergy note”

“No onions”

By using predefined notes, your team can take orders faster, reduce typing errors, and ensure notes are consistent across all orders.

How to Create Predefined Notes:

1. Go to Abacus backend

2. Go to POS Settings > Predefined Notes

3. Press on Add New Note
4. Type the new note and please do Master Sync from the Master POS to get the updated note.

5. Here how it looks like when we tap on the "Notes List" and the Predefined notes will be showing there and ready to use.
