How to Filter Orders by Printer Location on KDS
When a Kitchen Display Screen (KDS) is first connected to the Master POS, it will, by default, display orders from all printer locations. If your KDS is placed in a specific area (for example, the Bar) and you only want it to display items for that location, you can easily update this setting directly from the KDS.
When Should You Use This Setting?
This setup is useful when:
The KDS is used only by the Bar team
You want to avoid showing kitchen or other section items on the Bar screen
Each preparation area has its own dedicated KDS
Steps to Show Only Bar Items on the KDS
Open the KDS app.
Tap the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.
Select Location.
Change the location to Bar.
